Prima Ballerina

Galla began her first dance class a few weeks ago, a little ballet/tap combo. She very much loves to twirl. Finn also likes to get in on the action, as the video below shows. I think Finn is better at following along with Teacher Lisa, but Galla is quickly catching on. She highly prefers her black leotard and skirt even over her pink one or the princess one! I suggested she wear the pink leg-warmers to brighten up the ensemble. Plus, how freakin' funny are those little leg-warmers? I hope her black preference isn't an early indicator of a future Goth style. But I have to admit, the black makes her look rather sophisticated. Dance on, little love!

Yes, I am up this early (wide awake at 4am, must the the pregnancy insomnia!) Finn cracks me up!! That was so funny! Galla looks cute in her goth outfit, lol, the pink tights really do make it look cute tho.

Yes, they did renovate the Chuck-E-Cheese, we need to go again for sure! They put new carpet and opened up the floor a bit, they always added some jungle jim i think. anyway, its not so gross anymore haha

Oh my gosh! I don't think I have seen Galla since you chopped her hair! I did not even recognize her in the bottom pic in the black! That is so adorable! I can't wait til Andi gets to that age.

Carter just saw Galla and asked if we were going to the park with Galla. Good thing we are meeting up this morning- Carter needs a Gala fix!

Looks like you've got two future ballerinas on your hands :) Have you guys made up your minds about where you're going come December or is it still in the works?

Come Oooonnnnnn ... just move to Ohio.. And I will help Galla practice her dances!!!...

She is wants to wear the Black because her teacher is... and Finn will do great when he is old enough to learn ballroom or disco.

And... I love Gallas hair...

How fun! I totally recognize that classroom! We have many happy memories of that place: Christmas parties, playgroups, wedding receptions...oh I miss Troutdale!!

As for Galla, she is destined to be a ballet prodigy! I wonder what it would take for us grownups to be allowed to wear legwarmers again?!
