Auntie Amy Visits

Brad went out of town from Thursday morning until Monday night, so my best friend since sixth grade, Amy, came to keep us company for a couple days. We mostly just did the run-of-the-mill mommy stuff (grocery shop, Target, hang around the house), but on Saturday afternoon we thought we'd treat the kids to a Chuck E. Cheese trip. I'm surprised we didn't see you all there because everyone else on this side of the Mississippi seemed to have the same idea. It was a madhouse! But we still had fun and the kids were happy to have a tummy full of pizza and trinkets bought with tickets.
Finn's new favorite toy is Amy's Blackberry. Here he is sending a text. Thanks for coming to play, Amy!

Meanwhile, Brad made great progress down in CA. He shadowed a bunch of Chiropractors and checked out a few towns (and enjoyed some down time in Turlock). Looks like the Folsom/El Dorado Hills area is where we'll be headed before the year is over!

I love visitors they make the week that much better! Is that the area you guys will be setting up practice and living there? My aunt and uncle live in El Dorado Hills you will have to look them up. (not like its that big right!)

I already miss you and the kids. Thanks for letting me play. Steve bought me circle toast when I got home and I'm off to get more cottage cheese today. Yum!

CA? Excuse me? You tell Brad that he needs to check out Del Mar & La Jolla. It's full of a bunch of rich old peeps and rich surfers that need chiropractors. Plus you would be our neighbs! Plus sea world, zoo, aquarium. Plus you would be our neighbs! Come over right now!!!

PS~ in answer to your ? I do cut Luke's hair. I have given him 6 haircuts. Most of which result in the dumb & dumber look. I do not recommend attempting to cut your toddlers hair.

I have a love/hate relationship with viewing your blog. I love to see pictures of you two and of your cute kids. However, everytime I checkout your blog I end up hating mine. You guys might want to tone down the "poshness" (yeah that is what I wrote, "poshness")and give others a chance to shine.
................ or not?

Awesome to know where you're going! Such a relief to have that little bit of worry about the future off of your mind. Now you just have to worry about all the other details!

One of my favorite bridge jumping spots is right near folsom. BIG drop.
My dad split his shorts open on the water once and I had to do the driving home with my learner's permit. End of story.
